About Betessi
At Betessi, we believe sports forecasting should rest on data and prices, not emotion or media hype — and that anyone who publishes a call should be graded on it. We built the platform to put a real model, the market’s own numbers, and an honest record in one place.
Our Mission
To make quantitative sports analysis readable. We turn a model’s output and the books’ prices into a few clear numbers — a pick, a stake, a price, a range of outcomes — and then keep score, wins and losses both, so our members can judge us the way we judge the market.
What We Build
1. Daily Picks
Every morning the Betessi model prices the slate and publishes its picks by 8:07 AM PT, each with a stake on a 1–5 unit scale and the price it was published at. Every pick is graded when its game goes final.
2. Monte Carlo Simulation
For every game the model prices, we play the game out 10,000 times: the model’s margin, with its calibrated spread, laid on the market’s total. The result is a range of outcomes and a line to hold against the market’s — not a single guess.
3. Line Movement
Market movement leaves footprints. Line Movement sets the opening price beside the current one across ten sportsbooks, shows the best price on each side, and measures what the move is worth against the Betessi pick — from prices alone, without pretending to see tickets or handle.
4. A Record That Grades Itself
Process matters more than any single outcome, so we grade everything: the Daily Picks, Betessi Best alerts, and every position a member logs in the Position Log.
Important Clarification: Betessi is an educational data analytics and predictive modeling software suite. We are not a sportsbook, we do not accept bets, and we do not process financial wagers of any kind.
