Line Movement
Where the market moved today: the opening price beside the current one across ten sportsbooks, the best price on each side, and what the move is worth against the Betessi pick.
Every game, open to now
The live board lists the day’s games with the current line, the opening line and the move between them. Games that moved far enough for the opening price to beat today’s fair value carry a Market moved chip.

The best price on every side
Book prices from ten sportsbooks, read every fifteen minutes. Each side shows the best one — hover for every book’s price, tap through to the book — beside the opening price, its expected value against today’s fair price, and its CLV.
Weighed against the pick
Where the Betessi model has a pick on the game, it sits beside the market with its stake and what it is worth at the best price on the board now — or a plain note that the value is gone.

What is a Sharp?
In sports markets, a “sharp” is an analyst who decides on data and price rather than emotion or fandom. Sharps don’t just ask who will win; they look for value (+EV) — outcomes whose probability is higher than the price implies.
Closing Line Value (CLV)
CLV measures your entry price against the final market price before kickoff. Consistently landing on the right side of the closing line is the single best predictor of long-term accuracy.
Process Over Outcome
A mathematically sound selection can lose in the short term, while a poor selection can win. Sharps evaluate success based on their edge over the market rather than individual game outcomes.
Exposure Management
Never force a position to recover a bad run. A fixed unit, kept the same through streaks, is what lets you ride out the natural variance of sports modeling.
How to Read Line Movement
Line Movement works from prices alone — the opening line, the current line at ten sportsbooks, and the fair value the current market implies. It has no ticket or handle data, and it doesn’t pretend to: a move is a signal about where money went, not a recommendation at today’s price.
Start With the Move
Scan the live board for the games that moved between the open and now. A Market moved chip marks the ones that moved far enough for the opening price to beat today’s fair value.
Price Both Sides
Open a game to see the best price on each side across the books, the opening price beside it, and what the open is worth now: its EV % and CLV %.
Weigh It Against the Pick
Where the Betessi model has a pick on the game, Value at today’s price says what it is worth at the best price now — or that the value is gone.
Read the Line Before It Moves
Market timing rewards speed. Once prices start to move, the books adjust quickly — the value is largest in the window before the market corrects.
Opening vs. Current
The opening price set against the fair value implied by today’s market, with the vig removed — does the open still hold value?
Expected Value (+EV)
How much a price returns on average against a no-vig fair probability. Positive means the price is better than the market’s own estimate.
Best Price per Side
The best moneyline and spread on each side across ten sportsbooks, with every book’s price one hover away and a link through to the book.
Closing Line Value
The margin between the price you took and the final price before the start — the market’s own verdict on your timing.
