Accessibility

Last reviewed:

We want Betessi to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) at Level AA on betessi.com and in the Betessi app at app.betessi.com.

What we have done

  • In October 2026 we audited the path a new member takes, from this site’s home page through sign-up in the app, against WCAG 2.2 AA, and fixed what we found.
  • Automated accessibility checks run on every page of this site with every change, before it goes live.
  • Every page of this site has a “Pause motion” button that stops everything on it that moves by itself: the feature demos, the home page’s animation and the decorative effects. It sits beside the demos on the home page and at the foot of every other page, a link at the top of each page takes you to it, and your browser remembers the choice. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site starts with motion paused.

Known gaps

These are the places we know fall short of WCAG 2.2 AA today.

On betessi.com

None that we know of.

In the app (app.betessi.com)

  • This audit covered signing up, signing in, starting checkout, the Daily Picks card and board on Home, and Profile. AI Predictions, Betessi Best, Line Movement, the Position Log, My Positions, Community, Research, Schedules, Calculators and Support are next.
  • The “A new version is ready” message stays until you close it, and it can cover content at the bottom of the screen.
  • Pages run by others are outside this audit: Stripe’s checkout and billing pages, Google’s sign-in, and the password-reset and email-confirmation pages our sign-in service sends you to. Our emails, notifications and text messages have not been audited yet.
  • So far the app has been checked with automated tools, a keyboard and a code review. Testing with screen readers on real phones (VoiceOver and TalkBack) is next.

Payments

Checkout takes place on Stripe’s hosted payment page, which Stripe builds and runs. That page is covered by Stripe’s own accessibility commitment, not by this statement.

Report a problem

If anything on betessi.com or in the app is hard or impossible to use, email support@betessi.com. It helps to tell us:

  • the page or screen, and what you were trying to do;
  • what happened instead;
  • your device and browser, and any assistive technology you use, such as a screen reader or magnifier.

We read every report and reply.
